Safeline Asbestos Awareness Training
Regular readers of the Safeline Environmental Blog will be aware of CAR 2012 or the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 to give them their full title, in those regulations, there is a provision to ensure that relevant persons are given asbestos awareness training.
Whilst we are based in the West Midlands, Safeline Environmental is a recognised specialist in ALL aspects of asbestos management, including Asbestos awareness training, and we can provide these courses nationwide.
As mentioned, Safeline Asbestos awareness training is part of CAR2012, in regulation 10. Regulation 10 is very directive covering the following; Information, instruction and training awareness, Non-licensable work with asbestos including NNLW, Provision of information, Training for Non-licensable work Practical training for Non-licensable work.
Licensable work with asbestos Providing information, Training for licensable work Supervisors, managers and directors.
Practical training for licensable work Record keeping for employees carrying out licensable work.Training for examination and test methods and techniques, Provision of information and training for safety representatives, Competence of those providing training and the Duration of training, once the training has run out then Refresher training. Refresher training schedules and frameworks for licensable and Non-licensable work.Refresher asbestos awareness training Competence. Competence in respirator zones. Information and instruction for non-employees and finally the Certificates of training to be issued.
