About Safeline Environmental
We have been keeping people safe from asbestos since 2006. Here is who we are, what we believe in, and why our clients trust us.
Built by Analysts
Safeline was established by two analysts who initially set out to create an asbestos consultancy and laboratory. But in the course of their work, they were constantly confronted with the same problems when dealing with traditional asbestos removal companies.
They identified five consistent deficiencies across the industry:
- Poor standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Unhelpful worker attitudes and weak communication skills
- Lack of staff presentation and uniform
- Inadequate site documentation and record keeping
- Substandard removal equipment, poorly maintained
From this, Safeline was born - with a clear ambition to run an asbestos removal company to analytical laboratory standards. Individually, each of these deficiencies might seem minor. Combined, they represent a significant differentiator in the market.
Today, Safeline Environmental is a national company. Around half our work comes from the insurance sector - working directly for insurers, drying companies, claims management companies, and contractor networks. The other half is public sector and commercial work: hospitals, schools, local authorities, and large companies proactively managing their asbestos obligations.
This split between sectors is no accident. The insurance sector tends to peak in winter; the public sector in summer. This balance allows us to maintain a consistent, directly employed workforce - no agency labour, no seasonal layoffs, no subcontracted corners.
